WABOL®, formerly known as Walking Futbol Union®, is an innovative sport designed to offer a fun and engaging way for individuals of all ages to stay active. Who can play?
WABOL is for everyone! While it is particularly beneficial for those over 50, our sport welcomes players aged 5 to 100. It’s designed to be accessible, encouraging participants of all ages to join in the fun and experience the camaraderie of WABOL.
Basic rules
The 5 most important
Walking rule: The referee will award an indirect free kick against any player who is seen to be not walking while moving
Teams: Maxi Wabol - With 8 players + goalkeeper and a maximum of 6 substitutes.
Duration: Tournament matches have a duration of 2 halves of 10 minutes each.
Three touch rule: Although the Spanish League is played with a 2-touch rule, our tournaments are played with the 3-touch rule.
Height of ball restriction: A height restriction is set at the height of the crossbar or 2 meters.
